take a listen to "Rave Up" by The Yard Birds, "Couldn't Get Right" by Climax Blues Band yields some classic pop blues riffs from the early 70's as do all the Savoy Blues Band works as well as Humble Pie although they, (H.P), kind of stumble into more classic heavy rock riff's
